Siberian ginseng is an adaptogenic herb which has many functions in the body. Adaptogenic herbs are known for maintaining healthy stress levels, which in turn can lead to increased physical and mental energy, reduced anxiety, increased libido, increased appetite, increased skin cell regeneration and even hormone regulation. Often taken sporadically by students for increased mental and cognitive performance, ginseng is not a herb that should be taken long term. One course 2 to 3 times per year is enough, depending on the individual circumstances. This Siberian ginseng has been combined with b vitamins to maximise its effect on the nervous system, while encouraging healthy nails and hair, regulating sleeping patterns and regulating mood. Should not be taken alongside blood thinners or the contraceptive pill.
